Obedience

 

Obedience is

Better than sacrifice.

Deference to my maker is

Far greater than forfeit of my life.

Reverence to the Father of all is

Of more worth than yielding to the enemy of my soul.

Submission to God's unchanging will is

Of more merit than much suffering.

Willingness to give my Lord full control is

Of more value than if I offer up every thing I own.
