This year well be doing a lot of Memory work. One of the blogs I follow is doing Memory Mondays, we don't really take a specific day to study our memory work but we do recite the last weeks work on Mondays. So if you click on the button it will link you to the host of Memory Mondays.
So this year in Grammar I've decided to use First Language Lesson 1-2 CD for the younger two. They are going to memorize all the poems and the parts of speech.
For Math we are going to memorize math facts by using Math U See Skip Counting CD.
For Science we'll be using Birds of Ohio to memorize 25 Birds songs/calls
In History the younger two will work on the preamble to the US constitution while the older two will work on the Justinian Code, Kings of Britain, Names of the Popes, Magna Carta and a few things I'm forgetting.
In Poetry the younger two will be using FLL, Micah will be doing Music of the Hemisphere by Michael Clay Thomson and Josiah will be doing Building Poems by Michael Clay Thomson.
For Scriptures they will each be choosing their own verses from their Bible reading each day.
For Latin we'll be working on vocabulary words, practical phrases and Prayers.
Looks like a great list, Nita. I'm not sure why the linky wouldn't accept your post. I've gone ahead and entered it for you--it's up on my blog now.
