Science For Year 1

Biology is the study of living things.

This will be Z train's first Biology Cycle and Jo Bean's second. Moca will be joining us this year as well. We will be doing an in depth study of Biology with my older two. While Z train will be doing a tag along with a little lighter approach. We'll be dividing our study into three sections: Botany, Zoology, & Anatomy. We've already begun our Botany study. We will be using Apologia's Exploring Creation Series as our spine.

Biology is the study of living things. Botany is the study of plant life. Zoology is the study of animal life. And Anatomy is the study of the human body.

Exploring Creation with Botany is our Botany Spine. We have already begun our Botany study. We will be using other materials to go along with our spine. You can find them all here. We've already done several Projects and Activities in our Botany Study.

Exploring Creation with Zoology 1, 2, & 3 will be our Zoology Spines. This will naturally divide our study of animals into three sections: flying creatures, swimming creatures and land animals.
